Horrible aren't they! I have them on my thighes and some on my hips. It's from growing but also from losing weight. You don't have to be pregnant to have stretchmarks. My friends always moan about them and so do I. It's natural from growing up. They should fade and there's some specials oils on the market now that help them fade quicker.
Try bio-oil. Available in boots and all good healthcare shops.

Same as what everyone else is saying--it's skin growing. Also, if you've lost weight, that could affect it as well. If you're really worried about looks I've heard that Vitamin e and cocoa butter are supposed to work great. I'm pretty sure there are certain products that contain these ingredients, but just get some Vitamin E gel caps, poke a hole in them and squeeze the stuff out. I hope this helps, as well as the article.

Perfectly normal if you've put on weight a bit too quickly. Both my husband and son put on puppy fat as teenagers. The marks do fade to silvery lines eventually.

It's normal if you have lost weight but I would imagine it's only if you have lost a lot in a very short time at your age.

It's because your eating too much, fat people get them.
Stretch marks are what they sound like...the scars left when the skin cannot accommodate the growth in tissues it covers.
Eat a healthy balanced diet and do exercise..

Those are stretch marks from growing fast. My husband got them and one of our sons. They are both very tall and large people.. not fat, just big people.
