There used to be one in Seattle called the Iron Horse. It had a train track running all around the restaurant and when the food was ready they would put the plates on the train (it had flat freight cars) and stop it at your table. It was a really neat place. I don't remember what they had on the menu - it was 25 or 30 years ago that we were there. I was just a child. It had those X-shaped railroad crossing signs, railroad style lanterns, I don't remember much else. You could just have regular food and give it railroad sounding names - train track tacos, railroad ribs, chocolate caboose cake, diner car delight for the daily special - can't think of anything else right now. The waiters could be dressed like conductors.

Dining car ambiance would be maroon velvet plush diamond tucked Queen Victoria style chairs and matching swagged draperies with gold large tassels as pull back cords and gold fringe on the valances. Gold flocked wall paper, large Lilly shaped sconces with candle style bulbs. The Wait staff would wear white cutaway long tailed tuxedos, pants for the men shorts for the ladies, all wearing white gloves, Prime Rib, Yorkshire pudding, green beans almondine or Poached Salmon en cru, delectable wines, both white and red, escargot and brie cheese as appetizers, fresh fruit for dessert. Then Strong coffee and perhaps and after dinner liquor. Nummmmmy! Fun.

It doesnt matter its the kind of dish you serve it on, but maybe beef stew, chicken soup, roasts with vegetables (pork, beef,) baked beans, fried fish, then maybe something like a hobos plate which could be like french fries with chili, cheese, sour cream, chives, so it looks like it was just taken from the trash

Probably track kill, rather than road kill. Hobo mystery stew might work.
