i currently have regular AOL and it sucks. It's really slow and I was thinking about changing to yahoo dsl. I live in the bay area by berkeley california. i only use the internet to do research for homework, download music, and watch videos sometimes so i don't do anything major on it. so is it worth switching or should i go with something else?

If you are paying more than $10 per month for AOL dial-up, then you should switch. I used to be on CyerHotline for $99 per year prepaid (it averages out to $8.25 per month). The service was adequate ... while the customer service was nonexistent, I never had much problems with them. Now I'm on AT&T Yahoo DSL for $12.99 per month. The setup was fast and painless. The equipment was free after rebate. While I think the lowest rate currently available is $14.99, it's still worth it. You'll end up using the internet more if it's faster (that could be a good thing or bad, depending on your situation).

don't understand if this can be a question you're asking or a remark yet in this article are my 2 cents. AT&T is on a month to month foundation without contract. even if that if there change right into a freelance the position you stay. i have self belief they supply you a 30 day early termination without charging you a fee purely what the month cost. you the position unhappy in 2 days which signifies that you had 28 days to cancel it. so instead of complaining you should do something about it. that is in case you nonetheless have time to cancel your DSL. they could have taken you for a experience even if it is your fault for letting your self.
