Seek out help from someone you respect, or a priest, pastor, counselor, mom, dad, friend, etc. Think about what is most important in your life, what gives life meaning to you. Focus on something that has to do with that. Pray to God, it never hurts.

This is a hard one to answer without more information. Short answer is we all feel that way sometimes and find different solutions, some of which even work.
One of my 'tricks' is to keep coming back to what brings me the most joy -- learning about music and other cultures. It can be a paragraph in a book, or a track on a CD, that wakes me up and reminds me that I don't actually need to settle for what I'm doing at the moment.
What brings you the deepest, sincerest, purest happiness or peace? Look for ways to incorporate that into your every day life. So much of our lives is perception -- how we interpret events, others' actions and words, our own responses. Examine your perceptions and interpretations and see where you can shift them to something more positive.
What are your priorities? Do your daily activities satisfy you or distract you?
Do something tangible as well -- volunteering can be a good one, especially if you can find a community that appreciates you as you are. My friends with learning disabilities are the ones that keep my head on straight.
Write to me off-list if you want (my schedule is tight this week, but I'll get back as soon as I can). You'll find your way.

I've been in this spot. I stopped and had some serious thinking down time. I looked at what was making me unhappy, why did I feel so lost. After I figured it out I changed what needed to be changed. But, I really had to take a serious look inside and then a serious look outside before I made any changes because I wanted to make the right changes.

Give it some purpose. Learn a new skill. Take up a new hobby. Do volunteering. Commit random acts of kindness (however naff the idea). Look up friends you haven't seen in a while. Look for a new job. Improve your surroundings (eg by redecorating). Get out of your routine. Eat different things. Read different books. Watch different telly programmes. Count your blessings.

Go camping in the wilderness for at least one week.
Then go home and rearrange ALL the furniture in your house.
Then go volunteer for a charity.
If you're still lost, quit ALL of your bad habits, and replace them with hobbies you know nothing about.

give yourself to someone or something.
get involved in an organization where you can help others.
i find the more i give - the more i heal.
and if that does not work - therapy works wonders.

Relax and enjoy it, a breather is just that, a time to rest.
