I think Hillary would make an excellent president she is a strong, intelligent woman that is not afraid to stand up for what is right. She would have a great adviser in her husband, the last legally elected president. He was also the most successful at the job of running the business of the country in over 40 years.
Obama is not well known enough which in itself is not all bad as he has not collected the baggage of many career politicians. But I do not think that he has the maturity involved to do the job. Yet. He would however make an excellent Vice President and would be groomed for the presidency on 2016 and I really would like to see a Clinton/Obama run at the presidency in 2008. Just think of it as a woman and a minority, being the first this country has ever had. It would make history.

I will be shocked if either of them gets the nomination. (Not that I'm "in the know" about what goes on behind closed doors.) Between the two, Hillary has more experience. Dems will like her toughness and smarts, but may fear that the voting public may be turned off by her last name. I may be wrong on that. Obama himself has admitted that he doesn't have much experience on the federal level of government. If they're the only two choices and I have to bet on who gets the Dem nomination, I think it'll be Hillary.

Nobody, Democrat or Republican, has any use for Hillary Rodham Clinton, and Barack Hussein Obama is only a junior U.S. Senator, and he wouldn't be even that anywhere else but in Illinois, the home of the scandal-ridden Chicago Democrat political machine.
Don't you have anyone WORTH nominating?

For WHAT?
Obama has tons of charisma, but precious little experience -- none running even a Governor's office. At least Bill Clinton ran the Arkansas Governor's office!!!
Hillary has run NOTHING other than a Senate office. After early gaffs (White House travel office, etc) she was sidelined in the Clinton White House. She didn't even run the Rose Law Firm back home.
Both of them (like any Senator) have voting records that will kill them in a Presidential race. The only hope they have (and history bears this out) is if they run against another Senator (ie, McCain).
Obama at least is very clear that he's a liberal -- Hillary will be whatever it takes her to be elected. Hillary can expect opposition from her own Left, as well as that Vast Right Wing conspiracy (ahem). Hillary will also carry Bill's baggage.
***HISTORY LESSON*****
Last President w/ Senate experience - Nixon
Last President to win as sitting Senator - Kennedy (who won against Senator Nixon)
Last President w/ Senate experience to win in election against non-senator - Truman, with powers of incumbency
Failed:
Kerry, 2004
Gore, 2000
Dole, 1996
Mondale, 1984
McGovern, 1972 (ran against Senator)
Humphrey, 1968 (ran against Senator)
Goldwater, 1964
Nixon, 1960 (ran against Senator)
