Great version, but I still prefer the Northern Soul original. Think 'Say Hello, Wave Goodbye' was probably their best, and really like the version Marc did on 'Later with Jools Holland'.
Whilst I was a new romantic teenager, Hanoi Rocks 'Up around the bend' always gats me pirhouetting on the dance floor, hair flying everywhere! Can't explain it.

OMG!!! I don't know why, but when I was pregnant it was played a lot and it used to make me feel like throwing up. I had morning sickness anyway, but put that song on and.....I'd be on the verge of throwing up. Now, years later, if it comes on it brings back that nauseous feeling still! I've never really known why ha! It was always that or cooked pastry ...oh yeah...and Shield soap. Ewww brings it all back now he he.

Yes my all time favourite song.I actually asked a question about this a week ago.It has since been resloved,but I still don't know the answer.In the video he sang to a little girl,it was quite perverted.I couldn't fathom why.
