sure they can, just make sure that it is a good sized tank and that you have plenty of plants and floating vegetation in it, you will also need another tank set up and ready so you can move the adults as soon as they are through breeding because they will eat the eggs

yea... but make sure it is large tank or pond because most breeding fishes require room. they will breed but the eggs might get eaten if you have alot of other goldfishes and or other fishes in the same tank.

I think so . they are cheap enough to buy so they must be able to breed them in tanks

if the tank is big enough and they aren't overcrowded. however, chances are that any eggs layed will be eaten by the fish anyway

Yes but you need to have some live plants in there for the females to lay the eggs in.

Nope...I don't think they can. The tank is filtered consistently so the eggs would harmed and washed way.
