Well it really depends on your body type~
Dark jeans make the legs look slim when they hit a 1/2 above the ground. Fitted jackets that are close to the body also make you slim~

What's your body type? If your a few extra pounds dark clothes are great. I also found that clothes with lines RUNNING UP AND DOWN NOT ACROSS YOU do wonders at sliming you up. If you have a slender body and just want to look lean. Try dark with one light color. Like a black sweater...not big and bulky with a light collared shirt underneath. Very good look. Good Luck!

Depends on your body areas that you have problems with. If you have a thick middle you want to wear a nipped waisted jacket, one button more likely. If you have a big ***/thighs you want to wear a more structured pant that hugs your ***/thigh and then floats over your thinner areas. DO NOT wear something that's unstructured meaning soft.
It's been debunked that black is thinning. You can cover your entire *** in black and you see a huge covered up ***.
It therefore would help to divide it by wearing a lower cut pant (you see less of a big thing if it's visually cut off) and a top that cuts you off there. You won't want to cover your entire area that's fat with one color, try to chop it up a bit.
Also you do want to stay away from pleated high waisted pants with pegged or tapered legs. It makes you look way topheavy. If you have thick hips and small ankles you want to wear a lower cut structured pant with a little hug then a little flare. WEAR THEM LONG and with a heel and you'll seem entirely proportioned.
For a fat neck/shoulders I think it may be key to wear a bit of a low cut neckline, deep v. For bigger bosom I think the same thing, which is counterintuitive, but it actually makes them seem less huge. AND WEAR THE RIGHT SIZE BRA... lots of lift. Gives you more of a middle if you raise those babies up. It's ok if you have big bosoms, God made them and it's not shameful. Wear a bit of a low cut top and do your best to stand straight and tall.

Tighter dark wash jeans with a layered brightly coloured t-shirt and a dark coloured jacket that stops just at the start of the legs. For example; brown shoes, dark wash tighter jeans, kaky green t-shirt with white t-shirt underneath and a dark brown jacket.
