I'm thinking chintz, could i be correct?
I know the flowers are often cherry blossoms, and lillies however need to know if there is a professional term name for this pattern.

If they are embroidered this is either Yue, Xiang or Gu embroidery.
Chintz is Indian floral pattern prints.

The dresses themselves are called cheung sam i think. the style & pattern are traditional to this type of dress. Lotus blossom, cherry blossom etc are used fairly often
