Isn't ironic that Americans have a special day to commemorate the "positive" relations the early settlers has with the Native Americans when years later we persecuted them? What would n Iraqi Thanksgiving be like? Or one in Darfur?

Viet Nam - Tet Trung Thu
China - August Moon Festival
Korea - Chusok
Jewish tradition - Succoth
African tradition - Kwanzaa
India - Pongal
Rome - Cerella
Brazil - Thanksgiving
Germany - Erntedankfest

Iraqis annually celebrate the fall of Saddam's regime - iconically on the day his statue was felled.
