i like relientk (the band if no one knows) but i feel that they really arent true christians? what do u think? ahould i still continue listening to them?

i really just want to make sure they are a christian band and mean their lyrics and they really dont go around saying their a christian band.

I also like relient k and have struggled with the same question. When in doubt, I always refer to songs such as "never underestimate my Jesus" from their "anatomy of tongue in cheek album."
As far as their personal testimonies go, I'm not really sure. I know one way in which I determine if they're truly Christian or not is by reading their cd booklet. Usually, if someone professes their Christianity as a band, they'll list it in the booklet, such as in the "thank-you's" section.
I personally still listen to them and enjoy their music. I think they are brutally honest about some stuff, and I encourage others to listen to them as well. They're a good crossover band who can open up some conversations with some non-Christian friends.
Until something concrete comes up where they ruin their witness, I'll still listen to them.
I mean, we're all human after all. Even if they do mess up (and are repentant), shouldn't we forgive them, understanding that we're not any better than them anyway?
I do hope that with their next album, though, they might be a little more outspoken about their faith.
