If you're a novice/beginner, then there's all kinds of rock songs out there that have only 3 chords throughout the song. Depends on what music you're into. Some of the easiest rock guitar tunes are from groups like Creedence Clearwater Revival and the Rolling Stones. "Proud Mary" is mostly "D" through out it. "Wild Thing" by the Troggs, "What I Like About You" by the Romantics. There's just too many to name.

My brother started out playing "Sweet Home Alabama" by Lynard Skynard. He said it was a real easy song to start out with. Have fun playing

Try any rock or blues songs... they sound great!
I've currently learned Star of the County Down. Look it up... it's amazing!
