I would consult yourself first. You know yourself better than anyone out there. Psychologists can help, but is it really that much of a mental thing to consult one? Plus, do you have the cash to supply their charges? As for a priest, I'm not much of a religious person, but in my eyes, there are no sins. Everyone learns from the things they've done, and whoever is up there forgives us for anything. We are only human.

it really depends on your problem. I would use the internet to initially get a proffesional advice from a psychologist. if you feel that you'd done something wrong to someone, you need to consult about it with a priest but I find it hard to believe that you don't have anyone you know to share with. Good luck.

If you feel you have sinned, go to a priest. If you are having emotional problems, go to the psychologist.

I am not catholic, I would rather see a pastor and a psychologist. I might even talk to a priest even though I am not catholic.

i don't bother with either, i usually talk to god.
i don't really "talk" but i just think what i want to say, and i always feel better when i'm done.
i don't really like talking to a psychologist or a priest because part of me is ashamed. and i feel like the psychologist is "talking down to me" like the guidance councilors in my school, they act like you're some insane phyco freak and you need to be talked down to. and with the priest, i don't bother, because i think i should talk to god the way i want and not through a priest.

Well, for one psychologist are quite expensive, unless of course someone you know is a psychologist and they'll do it for free. So which one..good question. Hope that helps.

I could email someone and know they could read it later.
Probably a priest, because pyschologists make me a little nervous. Priests are ordained, psychologists are practicing.
