"We are the best country", i know my country is great, but yeah there are lots of other countries just as good and just as free as we are, and i know we are a great country but im not an arrogant pig, i have been to ireland, germany france, they are amazing countries, just like my country, people stereotype me to be arrogant because you silly little kids are going about sayin rubbish, we are not better than anybody, everybody is the same, and you haven't been to every country. Stop being an arrogant pig and face reality, yes we are the most powerful, but so what, other countries are better for other things, i see some people with no lives saying things like "America is the best", and they dont even have good lives, they just say it because its a stupid tradition in this country. So hi other nationalities, you are free in my country even if you dislike it, thats my way, i enforce freedom unlike you hypocrites, with your "we are the land of the free" and than "love it or leave it".

Seriously. You're surprised that people think you're arrogant?

Let's just review. You said:

"you silly little kids are going about sayin rubbish,"

"i enforce freedom unlike you hypocrites"

"they dont even have good lives, they just say it because its a stupid tradition in this country. "

Listen. Get off your high horse, learn to write properly, and calm down a notch or two. Okay?

You need to read what you wrote. You are sending mixed messages. How can you decide what a good life is for someone. Lifestyle. Some people you describe as not even having good lives has nothing to do with being able to be proud of their country. I live in the best country that I know of and I also live in the best town in my country. Notice . . . .I didn't say my towns better than your town. I wouldn't want to live there even though I don't know where you live. Don't you ever think you have the right to call me a pig or a silly American kid. I have been an American for 71 years.

Go soak your head in a pint or two. Freedom enforcers do not call everyone "pigs" and "hypocrites" because they are from a country you don't like. You don't understand freedom in the slightest. Those that do come from all over the world. Stop lumping people into groups and get your act together. Your hatred teaches nothing but intolerance - to everyone.

Why do silly people make stereotypical comments, generalizing a whole group of people based on what a few have said?
And I can honestly say I've never said the US is "the best country." So change those facts you've made up and go on with life.

Keep this in mind, not just for America, but for all countries: never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups. Just keep that in mind people when you start discussing nationalism or start ragging on another country. There are idiots wherever you go. Some are just more obvious than others.

Hello, I am US born and raised and agree with you.I have a passport, and do travel, and it sucks when you go somewhere and you are stereotyped because of other ****** type Americans.
I have met some fantastic people abroad, and seen some beautiful places that alot of people here would call a "3rd world hole", or something stupid like that, because they would be too closed minded/scared to give it a chance!Im not saying the US is bad or anything, and at the same time I know it is not the center of the universe. Some have the attitude that "everyone/everything else sucks", and it is embarassing.

Sceptre- What are you on? I live in the U.K. We have freedom of speech too amazingly enough. You are a typical example of why I hate America more and more each day. I know your warped, mangled brain construes any criticism as jealousy, but it's so far from the truth, it's unbelievable.

g h: I agree with every word you say. You are welcome in England and my adopted country of Russia any time you want. As you got 10 thumbs down for a fantastic question, I would ask you to leave your obnoxious, arrogant and delusional compatriots at home.

Opinions are opinions, but the fact is that more people immigrate to the USA than to any other country in the world. Obviously, they think it is the best place for them to live. Are they all "arrogant pigs"?

Yes, there are other countries which have a lot going for them, but for the total package, my opinion is we have it the best here in the USA.

Have some pride in your country!

Well be honest If you don't like the "arrogant pigs" then why don't you leave? If all I did was b*tch about my country I would move. Why live somewhere you don't like? Americans say America is best because it's called patriotism. The same way people who live in Canada say Canada is best, or Germans say Germany is best, and don't tell me they don't because I've traveled this world more then you counld ever imagine, and everyone thinks their country is the best. It's called love of country.
