Animal Farm is a fantastic book though. I loved it. You might also read George Orwell's 1984 too.

in the beginning of chapter five Mollie leaves animal farm for foxwood. This is symbolic of people who would rather be slaves and have life easy, than be free and have to work for a living. Orwell is saying that while everyone says they want a true and just governemnt, they are rarely willing to do any work to bring that about. The confrontation with Snowball & Napolean is typical politics, one leader will denounce the other as having bad ideas, then run him out of town, Only to immediatly offer the exact same ideas and show why they are good. It also shows the beginning of a police state, where questioning the leaders is forbidden, this is displayed by the three guard dogs. The sixth chapter is very important, it begins to show how the leaders begin to change the government to benifet themselves, and not the masses, when it should be the other way around. The subtle changes to the animal commandments and the alliance with their old enemies are the first signs of this. If you're still confused about something, let me know exactly which parts you're not understanding.

I forget exactly what those two chapters were about, but I know that I HATED this book.
The animals revolted against the Farmer, then the Pigs took over, one of them being a real d*ck. Napoleon. If you want more help, try looking at the Russian Revolution in I think it was 1817. That's what the book is based on.
Cliffnotes and Sparknotes are good, too, but I'm sure they leave out not-so-important details that your teacher WILL put on your tests. You're better off talking to one of your classmates or your teacher if you need help.
By the way, if they try and force Native Son upon you, run screaming with your arms flailing in the air until you hit San Diego and dive in with Shamu.

You could try CliffNotes as well. They usually explain what's going on in a book very well.
