I want to get a Ipod ( hopefully video one) for Christmas are they worth it? Or should I get something else?

I have a 30 GB video one. I have over 2500 songs on it which only takes up 11 GB, so there is still plenty of space. I love it, and its really easy to use.

They're more than worth it if you have a fast internest connection, to download video's, movies, tv shows, etc., but if you still have dial-up you'll probably not be using it to it's full potential...and make sure to buy a good case for it; a $200+ mp3 player would suck to replace.

I have a 30gb and love it. goes with me every where. i also like to down load tv shows and the games are cool. You should also think about buying the accessories for it. The car radio adapter is cool. Listen to i pod on your car radio. buy protective gear for it like a case and film for the face and back. GL merry christmas

you should get a mp4 player.you can download all kinds of songs but you can also download videos
