I think the NFL has many good safeties already (Polamalu, Bob Sanders, Sean Taylor, Ed Reed, Brian Dawkins, Roy Williams..), and there are only a handful of teams (Oakland, St. Louis, New Orleans) that would really benefit from picking up Reggie Nelson. As far as Darren McFadden, he has some breakout speed and reminds me of a Willie Parker. I would say that it will take years for either one to become a star (should either gain that status), but McFadden has an even greater chance of being buried on the depth chart.
