Before I add detail, I have no party affiliation with republican or democrat. I am an independent. When I saw the movie I used Realism (http://enthuzblog.wordpress.com) to figure out what he was totally saying. I have my vote about my question... But I want your votes and why! (Realism is a way of looking at things by using street smarts instead of book smarts, and sometimes you need to be blunt about it!)

What does Al Gore ever do that does not have political implications? Since he was voted out of public office, he has to do something to keep his name in the forefront of people's mind to stay "credible".

Actually...Al Gore should be President....the only reason he is not is because George Bush rigged the electorial with his brother in Florida.

I never thought much about Gore until I saw the "Inconvenient Truth" just the other day. I think he did a very good job putting this together and I totally have respect for this man now.

This man deserves and has earned the right to be President.

President Bush is a "friggen" Mad man that wants to bring the United States under "Martial Law." He must be stopped immediatly.

God Bless America.

I take issue with your definition of realism, but whatever.

Thankfully, liberal SP's are still outnumbered in our nation 3 to 1.

Nothing against Canada, but I prefer the US to remain as is.

I think it shows that he is a brilliant man is passionate about his concern for the environment. I don't think he intended to make it as a propaganda tool to promote a Presidential run. If that were the case, it would have made more sense to release next year instead of this one. By fall 2007 the film will be largely forgotten.

No, they wont nominate an attention hungry enviromentalist, if they do then any chance of the Democrats having a shot at the presidency is out the window

Sure, and it was a good attempt. I disagree with his politics, and his movie was slanted (he admits to that), but what a great way to move on (.org) from 2000! Very smart move on his part.
