One of the many beaches of course. Just be careful where you park....some people that live at the beach think they own it. There is Balboa Park, the Balboa Lighthouse, Coronado Island crossing over the Balboa Bay bridge and taking the ferry back (if it is still operating), go seen the US Navy vessels in port and tour any open ships if interested. See the Star of India sailing ship at the harbor and Big Bear Mountain is just out side of town and will begin to have snow on it this time of year.

I lived in SD for 30 years but haven't been there for 15 years so I imagine there are many new attractions to see.

Oh....if you go to Black's Beach in San Diego...it use to be a "clothing optional" beach. So check before you visit that beach.

Look to the state or fed parks. There is Cabrillo Natl.monument. There you can also view the tide pools. Very cool. I'm not sure about this time of year though. There is also Mt. Soledad. The view is spectacular. There is the trolly that can take you on a train like tour and you can stop anywhere you think might be interesting or take you to your intended stop. There are museums all over the county. Have fun!

Neither might want to be seen leisure Parks. both the Zoo and Sea international have extra of a concentration on Animals and under no circumstances rides. even if, Sea international does have extra exhibits and some rides. The zoo has some "exhibits" that are extra tutorial in nature and the purely "rides" are the Sky experience which takes you from one area of the zoo to the different, and the Bus excursion which takes you around the zoo. It purely relies upon on what style of animals you opt for to work out, and how major different issues which contain rides or exhibits are. in case you opt for purely animals the Zoo might want to be extra efficient. in case you opt for forms of leisure then Sea international might want to be extra efficient.

My boyfriend spend a lot of time hiking...which is free and fun. But there are so many different activities to do: watching a gorgeous ocean sunset, have a beach bonfire, picnic in Balboa Park, and more. Definetly go see the USS Midway down by Seaport Village - you can go onboard, and of course go to Seaport Village also. Old Town is cool, as is the Gas Lamp Quarter.
