It is probably your hard disk. If it has recently started making this noise it is probably about to fail. If it has been making the noise since you got it you may be able to change it to quiet mode rather than performance mode. You need to download a utility from the manufacturer to set this and not all drives have this option.

Clicking noise? Kinda like something hitting on the fan? Open your case and check that theres no cable hittin the case or cpu fans. Might be just it. It could also be your hard drive. Make backups of anything important ASAP!

Uh, turn down your speaker. hehe

Seriously there must be a reason and you should find out why. One reason right off the top of my head is google popup blocker. It will make a clicking sound every time it blocks a popup if set right. If this is the reason there most likely is a starburst that flashes above your cursor each time it clicks.

besides the fact that if it quite is a clinical concern, then i've got have been given it replaced into properly!!! I relatively have been no longer able to close out undesirable noise for as long as i'm able to bear in mind. My father could no longer hear to any song as he could "hear" all the gadgets seperately and to him it replaced right into a noisy cacophany of noise no longer making any experience. "White" noise drives me to distraction and so does the pinging of tills in supermarkets and that i'm no longer able to save the place they are playing song (that's maximum places). so which you're no longer on my own, yet I have no suggestions and could be observing for replies.

May be a hardware problem, get it to a computer shop and have them test all your componants. Somtimes it's because you have a bad motherboard, and your capaditors have blone.

If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.
