you have to read owen harts widdows book or do a search engine site for owen death.
I blame 100 % vince. Owen told vince no to do the stunt. Vince said do it or you are fired. Owen didn't want to let his wife and kids down so he did it.
Vince used a 3$ screw to put in the harness that was meant for a boat.
yes i cried my eyes out when owen died. I felt it was really really sad.
If he would of lived I am sure he would be world champion. He was suppost to beat the godfather that night to win the ic tittle

No one is responsible, everytimeyou step in the arena you are at risk of an "accident" happening.. Thats apart of being an entertainer in the demanding field these guys are in.

I think Owen was good, but not Heavyweight Champion material, He was a mid carder or tag team person at best. He had good fueds with good wrestlers but Owne excelled the most when he was a part of a group.

It's always a sad moment when anyone takes the long ride to eternity, Owen was no exception. R.I.P

i felt wicked bad. i truly felt it was vince's fault but then again Owen did not say NO. Unfortunately i do not think he would be champ. He would probably still be a 2nd rate character wrestler and would be on Smackdown.

I was sad when he died. It is said that his death was due to technical problems. The wiring he was suppose to come down on wasn't hooked up right. I don't know if he would still be with the WWE, knowing that Vince and Bret were feuding.

I dunno, i think owen knew the risk of going up there to the rafters before he even made his way up there. It's definitely sad, that his life was cut short, would he have been the champ, sure, maybe. I dunno that's hard to say. I remember watching that pay per view, they kept the show going, which I dunno about that, the ring area was stained.... and all the promos and matches afterwards you could tell everyone was just blah...
