The Godfathers, Scarface, or Carlito's Way would not be same without Mr.Pacino

None of them would, yer right. I watched Author Author the other night, and it would be such a corny dumb movie if it wasn't for him. He is just so freakin' hynotic on screen. What about Devil's Advocate or Serpico? He's incredible.

Isn't he one of the worst actors in the history of acting? Scarface especially.
Of course he was WONDERFUL in Godfathers 1 and 2. But he's such an over actor. It hurts to watch some of his newer films.

I liked him in the Godfather movies.
Not so much in Scarface or Carlito's Way.
Somebody else could have turned in a better performance.
Al, Jack Nicholson, Bobby Deniro and several others are kinda overrated.
I totally agree with bluasakura. She hit the nail right on the head. Many of his newer movies he, and many others, are just over acting their parts, and it REALLY hurts to watch them.
That's one of the reasons I can't stand Jim Carrey. Too much over acting just kills it for me, and takes me right out of the movie.

You're right in my book! His is always a powerful presence, and my favorite is the Godfather trilogy. Al Pacino is among my top "3" favorite actors.

The Devil's Advocate is one of his best performances other than Scarface. Serpico is good too.

I liked him in "Scent Of A Woman." I respect him because he is a true actor in that he does legitimate theater as well as movies. Not many other film actors do stage work.
