People Finder (email finder) .........?

This is probably a stupid question. Does anyone know of a way of finding someone if you don't have many details, only a first name and location and possibly a former workplace. What makes it more difficult is that it was a long time ago, approx.12 years??

I do not think with info you have,you will get anywere.
