Everyone would rather be happy in their own little world. People often create little worlds.. Just to pass their lives and make the whole thing less miserable.
But, I myself would prefer to live in reality. Of course, dreams are nice. However, in reality, I can be happy. I like to live in reality, sad or happy, because then I'm REALLY living. I can find REAL happiness.
All the happiness in any world would be worthless without the bad days.

I would rather be in my world and happy than in reality and sad because if I were sad all the time I may end up in no world.

I believe this issue was discussed in the movie 'vanilla sky' and summarized in the end when Tom Cruise proclaims "I want to live a real life. I don't want to dream any more." He simply came to that conclusion because he realized that living a perfect happy life that is not real is meaningless. In other words, I woud rather live in a harsh reality and be sad, rather than be in my own world and be happy...because a sad life that is real will be RICHER still than a happy unreal life.

i visit relate, each so often purely observing the archives impacts me too. I purely change it off and walk away. i have realised to a particular volume- existence might want to be quite, quite cruel and the reliable human beings do not consistently win. even if that if i'm in a collection of very close associates, I nonetheless sense at unease as if I absolutely ought to act a particular way or they are going to see with the help of my flaws. i'm someone whose very self-conscious and who would not opt for to be on the focal element. How I manage it? i attempt to get remote from it with the aid of doing something I savour which contain examining or some type of interest.

True happiness is our life's objective. Its what we were sent here to achieve. But can we truly be happy, alone? I think probably not. Watch Cast Away, the movie says alot about that.

what the heck is REALITY?
reality is what you see. collective "reality" is not necessarily any more real than what you believe in your heart, in "your world"; it's just reached concensus based on the fact that people don't generally think their actions and beliefs through.
so i say, be happy in both (if you must dichotomize)!

I'm already living happily in my own little world. Why? Is there something in the real world I should know about? Whatever. If something happens on Earth, please let me know. I'll be in the city of Rátenolpia Murtzen on the planet Tunyi.

Thanks to daily medication, I have now escaped sad reality, and instead float around in a world of vividly colourful dreams, and daytime zombie-ism. It's great, and I'd highly recommend it.
