if people say they are ur friend why do they turn on u later?

great question! I don't understand that either. I had a best friend of 34 years. I totally trusted her, we went through a lot together over the years. My husband and her have both betrayed me. They started corresponding on line behind my back. I accidentally found out and both of them talked about me. I know there is much more then I'm aware of that has gone on, or they would not have kept it a secret. I don't want to know the extent of there relationship or anything about it, I know all that i need to know, about both of them and the value of our relationships. I wish it weren't true but unfortunately, they were never truly a friend to me. Thats another harsh monent of truth for me, it hurts.

well i think it is because
they say that there ur friend but then say
someone they like, likes u that wud sure get them mad.
and maybe she got jealous because...well something good really good happened to u.
or she/he was just using u.
cruel people!!!
if they turn on u its there lost so i wouldn't stress or nothing.
and even if it was because of a different reason, REAL friends dont turn on each other.

a good friend would help you out, like help printing your house, go out with you, share things with you, give you advice, comfort you when you are down, they will be there for you no matter what. If they turn their back on you that mean they aren't your friend or they could be using you and pretend to be your friend, that why good friends are hard to find now day

becases people like that don't have a heart they don't think about others just them self, and 1 day the will wish they were ur friend becase there friends truned there backs on them, then they will see that u r a really good friend.

Because they don't mean what they say!For them saying ''you're my best friend'' are just words,words without any meaning.
