You should get a cdrom + data cable with it when you buy it. This just plugs into the usb port on your pc.
Or you can get a clever little gadjet called a multimedia memory card reader that uses the usb.
I got fed up of pluging in my sony ericsson k750i only to find my Son's PSP cable plugged in the usb instead, or mp3, or my daughters mini digital camera.
With the card reader, we could transfer data through the 1gadjet,using the memory cards,

Same way as you download music from your computer to your mp3 player/Ipod. You get given a software CD to load your songs to. And a lead that conects from your computer to your phone! Its simple!!
