does anyone here agree with the fact of killing animals just for their fur to make a coat? i think it should be banned and the people who wanna have an innocent animal killed to have it wrapped around your arms....why. just get fake fur!!

Back in the day ... when there was no other option, sure ... we needed protection, in the winter. But now, with sooo many other options ... there's NO excuse for the senseless slaughter of animals, for their fur. It angers me, when I see someone wearing a fur coat!!

Not if we're eating the animals in the first place. Why kill it just for its meat and then throw the pelt away? If we're going to kill them, we should use every part of them that we possibly can.
That said, I have 4 fur coats that I inherited that I will probably never wear and I also have 2 rabbits.

I agree although I did buy a used coat from a thrift shop with a real fur collar. Thought that was OK since no market would be created for any other animals' deaths.
I blame the fashion industry and pop stars like beyonce and jlo for their fur wearing.

The animals you are talking about are bred on farms, to be used for that very purpose, Exactly like that cow that was killed for the hamburger you ate. For the steaks you are having tonight. Do you eat chicken? Pork? Fish? There's no difference whatsoever. God gave us animals to use for food and clothing. As long as we aren't being unnecessarily cruel to them, or depleting a species they are for our USE. It's not like somebody is going out into the wild and shooting all those animals that you see in stores. They were raised for that, so get over it. If you want to buy fake fur, that's fine, but don't expect everybody to feel the same way.

I agree but don't you want 2 feel warm in the snow. I would like to be warm and comfy in fur.

thats what road kill was for i thought? that way the animal is already dead, and since they are so scarce, especially the really nice furred ones, you can make lots of money off road kill.

I totally agree with you and I also believe that they shouldn't be killed for anything other than for food and to help keep the population under control to prevent disease.

J. Crew stopped selling real fur and was ((i dont know if they still are)) trying to get Pac Sun adn there other affiliates to stop.
