I see a lot of people doing homework on yahoo answers.

If your textbook came with an interactive computer program, where you ask questions like you would on yahoo answers, or if your teacher had a website where you could ask questions anonymously (some do), do you think that will make you study more?

ya it would help the students who want to check their answers or are absolutely out of ideas for the problems. Some would argue that all the students would use it to cheat but hey if you cheat ur only cheating urself out of a education cause by the time u realize that cheating doesn't help its too late cause u haven't learned the material and are totally behind.

I have only been on Yahoo Answers for a week, but I am alarmed at the number of students who are doing exactly this, trying to get others to do their homework. It is just sheer laziness. I thought kids today knew how to surf the net and use search engines. Rather than have an interactive computer program or a website where you can answer questions, work the answers out for yourself. You can find the answer to almost anything on the web - as someone who was educated 50 years ago with nothing but paper books and bored teachers, I wonder at how lucky kids are today, but yet they still ask damn fool questions, sometimes in a totally illiterate way, on this site. But then when you get teachers asking damn fool questions as well, why should I be surprised!

Rant over!!!!

I think it would help you to want to ask more questions, and find out more. I don't think anything could make a person who doesn't like to study, study harder.

Somewhat. For the people who really want to learn it would. For the people who just want someone else to do their homework, it would not.
