its good on friday, when I want to go out, and crap on saturday when I want to stay in with my hangover and watch telly.
surely loads of people stay in on saturdays so why is the tv so lame? why? WHY?

Thats why internet was invented. I totally 100% agree with you, why is it that telly as a kid durning the 70s and 80s seamed so much exciting but we weren't allowed to stay up. Then during 90s we would roll in drunk and watch Hit & Her (oh that was crap) But now I am stuck in with kids of my own, rubbish on tv, I've turned into my parents and started listerning to the radio. (God theres now hope)

Good question, besides Take That which isn't til 9.30 theres nothing. The TV folk presume everyone loves trash like XFactor, Casualty and The Lottory (what happened to it just being a draw, now they have to make an hours programme out of it). Suppose thats why were all writing on here.

The media is all about sensationalism, but with that aside get a really good hard drive and a great recorder so that you can record Friday and watch it on Saturday

to me its crap every single night, and day. i haven't watched a show for over 2 months. as to why it is crap on saturday's, well because people in the tv industry lack any real and inventive ideas, preferring instead to churn out reality tv stuff.

I totally agree with you with this one. I don't want to watch Match of the Day or X Factor. Television has gone lame.

They mistakenly assume that we weekend warriors go out Friday AND Saturday night, then spend Sunday night w/ our heads in the toilet.
They never take into account us poor Friday-night-over-doers!
