Obviously the hinges are on the opposite side of the door or you probably would have been smart enough to figure that out. Using a puttyknife or something realitively thin and stiff,pry the stop away from the jamb about 6 inches above and below the latch. With the same tool depress the latchbolt into the door. It should open. Tap the stop back home. Replace HDW.

Credit card or something plastic, that will bend.
Slide it down the door frame and it will bend to the shape of the latch and open, easily.

on the side of the door, there two hinds, you could take the door off and replace it with another door, be careful is heavy
