Have noticed the usual suspects pop up here but no ones mentioned Lyon who are really going somewhere at the minute. They dont have the superstars of chelsea et al but their brand of football is beutiful to watch.

Pound-for-pound, you'd have to say Manchester United. They're the only club in Europe who enter every game as favourites - you know they're going to perform at a high level and create chances. You just don't get the same feeling from teams such as Chelsea, Barcelona, AC Milan, Bayern Munich or Arsenal. United never have off-days, whereas the teams I've listed above are notorious for having days whereby nothing seems to go right for them (particularly Chelsea, whose bloated squad struggle to come to terms with new faces around them every week; and Arsenal, who rely on Thierry Henry far too much).

They may not have the money of Arsenal, or a recent Champions League success to boast of, but they play a scintillating brand of football under a truly masterful manager.

i think i will go for chelsea/barcelona/lyon but i think chelsea and lyon look the most likely cos at the moment they seem to be doing it all right combined with the calliber of players they have both the strenght of the starting eleven and the reserves to make even the greatest of teams worry on the other hand lyon is a strong force to reckon with and also have a very creative mid field which is the bed rock of success with an air tight back four while for barcelona every thing looks to be crumbling but i believe if they scale through to the next round which i believe is very much likely before the re opening of the champions league they will be having the full services of their potent talisman eto which might just be their turning point.

I dislike them, and my team is Valencia CF, but I honestly think the answer has to be Chelsea. They play "as a team", everyone knows where everyone else is on the pitch, and they play some excellent football under Mourinho. You don't see too many poor passes. That constitutes teamwork in my opinion.
