Well, judging by the bands that you listen to, Top Forty or pop music doesn't seem to be your thing. As an alternative music fan, I would recommend some old school music like The Beastie Boys' "License To ILL" (the lyrics are remotely offensive but funny) or any 80's era music by New Order. Most of the alternative (or "emo" ) music these days is catchy, but, very annoying and whiny.

Not exactly happy, but it is upbeat: Bowling For Soup and Fall Out Boy. Fall Out Boy's music is very upbeat and happyish and Bowling For Soup is just funny. Funny music is very popular with people I know. Happy music makes me sad for some reason though, just like love songs. I hope it works for you though!

Songs that make me happy:
Suddenly I See by KT Tunstall
These Words by Natasha Bedingfield
Unwritten by Natasha Bedingfield
Fergalicious by Fergie and Sexyback by Justin Timberlake (both of those make me laugh for some odd reason)
Any songs that make me want to just dance are happy music for me. :) Natasha Bedingfield's music is very happy too. Now if you want to get kiddish-happy then listen to Hannah Montana, that's what I do when I feel childish lol.
Christmas music makes me happy because I love christmas. Old music like Girls Just Wanna Have Fun are good for happy music.
Musical music like MAMMA MIA! or Grease too.
However, that's just me. That's the music that makes me happy. :)

Me First and the Gimme Gimmes! In case you didn't know, they are the world's premire punk rock cover band. Seriously, each of their albums has a theme for it's covers (one's sixties, one's seventies, one's R&B, one's showtunes, and one's country), so it's songs you know but done in a seriously fun way.

I don't know. People generally aren' really that happy, so happy music doesn't sell to anyone except preteens.

you want happy, go with barney the purple dinosaur..."i love you you love me we're a happy family"

also, "don't worry be happy" by bobby mcferrin or "walking on sunshine" by katrina and the waves.

all so delightfully blissfully happy that after listening to them you'll want to pop in some marilyn manson and napalm death just to get the happiness off your body and soul.

you're welcome.
