Why did they have to make Shock Treatment a sequel to The Rocky Horror Picture Show?

I just bought the Rocky Horror Picture show off Amazon, and it came with Shock Treatment . This is supposed to be a sequeal. And it is awful. Why didnt they leave it at that. Anyone else think this movies was AWFUL!!

It was pretty bad your right they shouldn't have made a sequel to the Rocky Horror Picture Show i guess Richard O'Brien had his reasons for making it what they were i don't know .
