Your problem lies in that you REALLY want to be pregnant. Everything you feel makes you think that you're pregnant. It's tough to want something so bad, but you need to step back and wait for a positive test result. You're going to drive yourself insane if you don't.

1) Take the HPT in another week. Right now it's too soon to tell if you're pregnant or not. You could have a false negative, or you're really not pregnant.

2) Just because you stopped your birth control in October doesn't mean you're going to get pregnant right away. Your body has to process the hormones and the lack there of. It's not unheard of for a woman to take months to go back to a usual cycle. Usually within 3 month a woman begins to ovulate again.

Id say go get a blood test done that light bleeding could have been implatation and you might have taken the test to early you might not have had enough of the hormone hcg which is needed tio detect pregnancy so go see your dr good luck

Its normal to take up to 6 months to get your body to regulate after being on the pill. Its probably just a skipped period because of the pill.
