Use old tennis balls cut in half with a serrated knife. They stay on the leg ends better.Moving old furniture will break the glue bond at the joints so be careful.Remove contents of drawers then the drawers themselves.Cold dry weather is a bad time to move since wood is not swelled tightly together. If you have Ikea furniture tennis balls will not help, everything will come crashing down.

They work like a charm - I use them to move my king size bed, furniture, etc.

Yes they do - my friend bought some at K-mart. But I use old clean rags I cut up the same size and work just as good.
