they are still a band and will most likely have a cd out maybe late next year. they said that since they have so many people in their band they need to take time off from each other, and they have have a bunch of other projects that they are working on.

No they still are I assume your refering to stone sour. That was just formed to showcase the fact that cory could sing and give a more listenability to thier more lyrically prolific songs since you know slipknot isnt all that understandable
