Why do guys have nipples? They don't use them like women to feed a baby, so why have them?

during the second month of pregnancy, the hormones that determine if the embryo is a boy or a girl have not kicked in yet. by that point, the nipples have already developed. about a month later the hormones kick in that determine your sex and if it's a girl, the breasts continue to develop and if it's a boy, the breasts don't do anything.
and just as nipples are unnecessary in males, orgasm is unnecessary in females for the same reason. males need orgasm in order to ejaculate (usually) but the hormones that cause orgasm are already present before the embryo determines if it is a boy or a girl; therefore both sexes experience orgasm.

Hey!! This is interesting... i always thought of them as just another erotic zone... most of the men enjoy their nipples as much as the women do... but the answers you got to your question were interesting... i didnt know at all about milk production in male body....

males and females are made the same way. After a certain time in utero the fetus gets washed over with hormones that determine sex. The nipples are already there.

look at it this way when we are developing in the whome we are all women until i think month 4 but till then we are all female so we all have the same nipples

All mammals have nipples. Most male mammals can actually produce milk under certain circumstances. Remember also that when we are conceived we are all females--only later do we differentiate into male and female. So consider them leftovers......;-) Actually, lots of guys are into having their nips played with as they are wired into our systems quite nicely....

They are a erotic zone for them... Plus if they didn't have them... What would there chest look like? I would think a lil goofy.. I think man nipples are sexy!

Men and women need to be quite simmilar physically otherwise it would be difficult for us to reproduce with each other.
