PS to Sittinonit - Funny then how the Democrats couldn't stand the recent "Path to 9/11" movie, ordering it's censorship, while they didn't have a damned thing wrong with the Michael Moore portrayal!--which, BTW, didn't get censored by the offended republicans...at elast THEY understand freedom of speech is not a "ONE WAY" trip.

My God do I agree. I can't stand watching some of the decisions he has made as President, but how some people can actually hate this man, and wan't him dead; it's shamefull, these people are no better than Hitler and Bin Laden.
Very good point.

It seems that most people believe everything they hear by the media. Many people want to blame George Bush for everything. It is sometimes easier to blame someone else for your woes than the person in the mirror. I recall some even blamed him for hurricane Katrina hitting the Gulf Coast. One thing people seem to forget is that he was legally elected to the presidency according to our Constitution. He was also not alone in sending troops to the Middle East, although some would have you believe he did it all by himself. Congress voted to send troops, yet some would deny it today. George Bush seems to be a man of conviction who will do what he thinks is in the best interest of the country, regardless of public opinion. He doesn't take a public opinion poll before making major decisions. Whether you agree with him or not, he does what he feels is right. That is the sign of a true leader.

Sorry, but when you say George Bush that covers so many issues, not just the man. I couldn't care less about George W. Bush the man, however he is my President which opens him up for criticism due to his actions/inactions. People defending the President to me, are blind, hopelessly chronic republican fanatics. That's my opinion. If you think this man has done a good job as President, I would classify you under the above description. Other than the tax cut that was a sham, let's see his list of accomplishments versus his list of failures. Is it so hard to see why so many people think he is a poor example of President of the United States of America? Have you not noticed his current fiasco in Iraq?

you're merely getting your self right into a pissing contest. Time to enable pass of the gangster mentality. the two events are working as a set to destroy the rustic. Whom ever comes after BHO, will proceed the ball rolling, merely like Bush persevered Clinton's stride. end being a lemming, and attempt to have an unique concept. there is the place the subject is, no one thinks for themselves any further.

It's not OCD, but sure -- with some people it's an obsession.
Just like with some neocons, the need to demonize anything they decide is "liberal" is an obsession.
Personally, I don't hate Bush. I think he's a lying, cheating, war-mongering, greedy, stupid, ignorant, witless fool...but I don't hate him. I just don't want him leading my country into debt, war, and legislated fundamental christian morality. Once he's out of office, he'll be out of my thoughts entirely -- I'm not obsessed with him in any way.

Others like to play the hate card so they don't have to back their President up. Why? Because it's easier to label people and insinuate they have hate than it is to debate reasonably and logically.
Regarding your question, it would behoove you to research OCD.
It isn't the only issue, or THE issue for that matter - it's what you want so it's easier for you to understand.

Mostly, we don't hate him-just think he's unbelievably inept. I've seen at least some good done in this country by previous Republicans but can't seem to find what good he did for our country-the Republicans have fooled as well-mostly by their own partisanship. I also seem to remember that when Clinton was elected President, their were immediate outcries of "he's not MY president" by Republicans-even though he passed Republican bills(notably welfare reform & NAFTA). I wonder-does hate beget hate?

Yeah, I do especially if his bombs wiped out my family and everything I worked A lifetime to build. If I lived in a place where the only car bombs were on TV and now they are a daily occurrence in my neighborhood I could learn to hate the guy big time.

I don't at all. The world is in chaos and although all of it is not his fault, he has worsened the situation. One only has to watch the news, read the newspaper, or even glance at Yahoo News! to realize Bush is a very inept leader. So ofcourse, people will be mad. They have a right to be!!!

With a 30% approval rating I think that is you that might have the problem not me. While I do not hate George Bush I feel he is the worst president I have seen in my 60 years and am not afraid to back it up with facts.
