It is somewhat amazing that children are starving around the globe & there is war......and what we all need to know is what did George & Danny have to drink. Or maybe what the outcome of K-Fed & Britney's break up will be.

People........who cares???????

OK.. so here is what I think.. I think that most people get tired of hearing about the war, and the bad things happening in the City, State, or even Country that we live... It seams that every time I look at the news.. there is something sad, or not right going on..
Just in my town alone.. there has been a few deaths because of the winter storm.. we are tired of hearing about the depressing things.. WE NEED TO BE REMINDED ABOUT WHAT MAKES THIS COUNTRY GREAT!!

I don't mind hearing every once in a while about some bad things but every channel i turn to there is something bad and depressing on the news!!

Its good to hear something a little more upbeat... the DaVito story is going to be a classic!! I l'ed MAO!!

My priorities aren't on knowing what the celebrities did, I could care less. It is ridiculous how they get plastered all over the news like they know will happen when they cause a stir. Who cares? To give them no attention whatsoever would be the best action to take. There are too many people self-absorbed and self-centered. I want to know what the real news is for the day not what some jerk did.

Yes to a degree. The media call such trivia infotainment. The mass media try to cater for a huge unsegmented audience and believe some will be interested in this type of trivia which would be better suited for the OPRA show.

The news reporting is changing. It's becoming entertainment/news. It's all about ratings and getting people to tune in. Yes, our priorites are a little skewed but, were watching it anyway....why should they change when where going to watch no matter what they spoon feed us as important news.

Just need a lil' comic relief now and then. Michael isn't doing anything to keep us amused; Whitney and Bobby are keeping low; R Kelly has left the lil' girls alone and while we await another celebrity to spill racial obscenities and then apologize w/ a "I don't know where that came from!"...let's laff a little w/ the antics of funny Danny DeVito.
