Yeahh those are pesky snails, they come in on plants, food, in fish water... Not sure how you got them, but you may have had a few in the gravel and never noticed till they started to multiply more.
Once you get em, you probably can never get rid of them. You just have to control their numbers. They aren't particularly detrimental to your tank, but they don't help, either.
My method is to squish any of the snails I see on the glass with my finger (fish love to eat the squishes snails).
You can also trap them, by using an old camera film case or a small tupper... you just poke some holes in it, put some rocks and lettuce in it, and the snails will be drawn inside.
If you MUST get rid of them all, put 80% of your water into a bucket and put the fish in the bucket, then wash all of the ornaments in hot water. In the remaining tank water, dump some aquarium salt (1tbsp per remaining gallon) to kill any remaining snails or eggs, and clean the tank. Then remove as much of the salted water as possible and vacuum the gravel, put your water and fish back in, and top off the tank with however much more you need to fill the tank.
Good luck!
Oh! IF they are trumpet / unicorn-horn-shaped, they are Malaysian Trumpet Snails, and they are very good for your tank. But snails that look like little brown ovals, or those orangey snails that look like coiled up playdough-snails, kill those.
Try to avoid using snail-killing chemicals. I would not use chemicals that could kill snails in the water with my fish.
Lastly, depending on the size of your tank, you could get a group of yoyo loaches (if you have 15-50 gallons) or clown loaches (if you have 50+ gallons). Make sure to get at least 5. They will eat the snails.

Snails are a sexual. They can fertilize there own eggs. And thus far is more snail eggs. If u didnt have them in ur tank .. they could of got there from one of the fish... because one time i went and got new fish and i had plants growing in my tank. it must of got carried in the water or the fish.. Not very likely.. but can happen. If you dont take some out u will have a million in your tank.

Snail eggs are extremely small and usually can be found attached to live plants and sometimes even the sides of fish. If you don't like the snails I suggest getting a placostomus (or however you spell it) they are bottom/scum feeders and love snails.

You may have in inadvertently introduced snail eggs into the tank as fish food or with plants that have been put into the tank.

the snails will come with your plants if you buy them from a pet store that also sells snails from their plant tank...
to get rid of them either pick them off and throw them away and keep doing that until there are no more.. that probably won't work.. there's chemicals you can buy that will kill them off.. or you can get a freshwater puffer fish.. The puffer fish loves to eat them an will probably live well with your gourami.. my puffer fish and gourami get along fine
good luck

She needs extra preparation, fantastically on stay and bear in mind. it really is a for instance hostile to flexi-leads. they are surely negative for most any canines keep an really small one. Even then, there have been circumstances the position the owner might want to no longer retract the lead quick adequate if the small canines became a techniques adequate away, and the canines bumped into site visitors. Get a reliable thick nylon or leather-depending leash & ditch the flexi-lead. If it were a established leash you maximum in all probability would were waiting to get a company grip on it. such as her operating, and having the flexi-leash banging on the floor in the back of her might want to have also scared her.

Spontaneous generation.
Just kidding. The original material or water you put in probably had snail eggs in it. They're very small.

Do you have live plants? They could have had eggs on them, or your crabs could have had eggs on them as well.
They take a while to grow big enough to be seen, so that is why you may be just notcing them.

They hitch hike in on a plant. They breed like bunnies.
