Yup - PS3 is better technology (inc. Blu-Ray) than the Xbox360 - which is really just a PC that can't be upgraded. Saw both side by side at 'Big Boys Toys' in Auckland - no competition.

Not buying another games console in my life! Son is getting an Xbox 360 for Christmas. We will then have a Playstation 1 and 2, Xbox, Gamecube, Nintendo DS and Gameboy plus all the various games - enough is enough!

Have had a PS2 for years and a playstation before that and been a big fan of both.Currently have s PSP.But i'm afraid the reported £500 price tag if true is too much (before even buying any PS3 games for it) for me.Will get an X Box 360 instead...

not going to waste my money. get Xbox 360 about 300 quid cheaper, the only real difference is that the PS3 has blue ray. but Xbox 360 is HD ready anyway. Just remembered. i heard on a tv program last week, what Sony not saying much about, most the the ps2 game don't work on the ps3 at the moment. Naughty Sony !

Be more patient, Let other people get em, price will come down and theres only a handfull of decent games for the 1st 6 months!!

I never get the 1st batch playstations any more. There never right. They only last about 4 mounths, before they break. It's better to wait for the second batch to arrive.

according to my TFK magazine the Playstation 3 came out during november and its $499 so dont wait until march

I gonna buy it immediatly it comes in the market and the 1st game i will play it will be winning eleven soccer it is best game in the ps2 so it will nice in ps3 also.
