So about 2 weeks ago i had my period and on day 3 i woke up and my flow didn't seem 2 heavy so i only wore a regular tampon and after 4 hours i got up and i could feel the tampons kinda coming out of me and when i went 2 the bathroom i took the tampon out and it was totally used up but it didn't get on my undies. I felt totally fine until that night when i had some diarriah and some stomach pains. So do i have toxic shock syndrom i mean i felt totally fine until that night. Also, lately i still get some stomache pains and i've noticed that i get a hurting/burining pain in my underwear. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME, i'm totally freaking out and how am i supposed to tell my mom i can't.

you need to tell your mom, you can't be embarrassed about these sorts of things.. but I think it's very unlikely you got tss if it was only in 4 hours and if you used it up completely... tss generally comes when girls use a tampon that has too much absorbancy, and leave it in for too long so I think you're probably safe... but the hurting/burning doesnt sound right so have a talk with your mom

It may be any number of things. The diarrhea and stomach pains could be a stomach virus. The bleeding was perfectly normal. The stinging (especially if during urination) could be an indicator or either a yeast infection or a UTI.

TSS is sudden, and you would have an extremely high fever, and would probably have ended up in the hospital by now, since the condition advances VERY rapidly, and you've been done with your period for at least a week already.

You should DEFINITELY tell your mother you need to see the doc, or make an appointment and go on your own. Get yourself checked out....ignoring your health because you're afraid or too embarrassed to say anything is THE worst thing you can do.

When you have Toxic Shock Syndrome you get an extremley high fever. The instuctions in the tampon box will tell you all about the signs of TSS and what to watch for. Dont be afraid to talk to your mom, she is there to help you. She will be glad you came to her. Alot of women experience stomach cramps and diareaha, and sometimes your flow is really heavy at times. When you know your period is coming soon, start taking Advil(ibueprofen) and your flow will be less. Good Luck.

nothing is wrong, If you had TSS, you'd already be in a coma. I suspect you just have the Norwal virus that is making the rounds. It lasts for a few days, then leaves you feeling weak for about another week.. The burning pain is probably from having the runs and wiping so much. Take a nice warm bath with about 1/4 cup of salt in the water and the pain should get better.

You should definitely tell your mom. Some of the symptoms you are having could lead to havin TSS it is very important that you tell a doctor or your mom you shouldnt wear a tampon if your flow is really light or if you arent on it well i hope this helps hun!

i think you are going to have to tell your mom. Then she can take you to the doctor to actually see what's wrong. Bets of wishes.
