How do you 'look pretty' with glasses?

i myself have glasses,and my family,all around the world gives me differnet kinds for my birthday ,or some other great day ,and i have so many galsses,that i chose to make you or like a me look better,because there many differnet kind of people in the world ,and different kind of glasses.so i always have rectangeluar glasses.so what i do ,for my eyes if i want simple look , i just put eyeliner,and for the punk,and retro kind,take eye shadow ,but if you want to be in the middle,you can put little eyeliner,and only one thin layer of eye shadow that is not sparkely.never put to much blush,only one swish to your cheek for galsses,and make it skin tone color.and for lipstick,i would use something clear lip gloss,and brown color lipstick,by putting a clear lip gloss, you kinda adda touch for the glasses.

I would go rimless but don't get so focused on going small you get ones you don't like or aren't comfortable. Get glasses you feel you look good in not what you think somebody else might like.
I had glasses but i have contacts better, thier way better.
I would wear mascara and a little eyeshadow to make your eyes stand out and take the attention from the glasses.
Tip: Make sure you don't just clean the lenses but the nose piece thing to so that it doesn't greasy cause that will make your skin break out and get extra greasy.

okay, i used to wear glasses and i asked the same question. people are always looking at the glasses right? well get the attention off of your glasses by making your eyes stand out. do your makeup some way that enhances your eyes, it doesnt have to be dark, usually light colors and brightness helps. if you dont want the focus of your face to be your glasses, then dont get bulky frames.

You need to get the right glasses for the shape of your face, Also people need to get used to what you look like in them then you will look pretty.

It depends on the shape of your glasses. I use wire rimmed glasses. I have dark brown eyes. Whenever I go out. I usually play up the eyes. I use MAC Pigments eyeshadow, very lightly because the color is very concentrated. My faves colors are Rose and Vanilla. I use a little eyeliner above the lash line and mascara. A little bronzer on the face and glossy lipgloss. All eyes will be you on! Trust me.

Choose them really carefully.

Whatever you do, avoid choosing them simply to look fashionable -- choose frames that really suit your face.

Generally speaking avoid heavy plastic frames like the plague. Probably go for fine metal frames or rimless.

Glasses can actually improve your looks if you get ones that really suit you. Sadly, too many people pay a fortune for designer frames that are fashionable for a few months but do absolutely nothing for the wearer's actual looks.

I don't know.. I think I look ugly in my glasses, but whenever I wear them I get compliments.. but I still dont like to wear them, I wear my contacts instead.

Glasses can look really nice if you don't do something stupid with them.

Stick with something simple, ONE color, maybe brown or something. No wacky shapes either. Just make it blend in with your personality.

In the end all, they make you look more intelligent.
