is a xbox 360 a better way to go than a ps2 cause of how much the games cost and stuff?

Wait...is that last guy STUPID??? PS3 costs WAY MORE than the 360!!! A top notch 360 is $400. a MINIMAL GRADE PS3 is $500!!!

Or maybe he made a typo and said PS3.

Anyway, I say go for the 360 because after the release of God of War 2 this Spring, Sony might start phasing out the PS2. You'd have spent money on something no one's gonna make new software for, though there's a bevy of great games for the PS2 to make up for the lack of new software.

Or, better yet, get a Wii. Costs less than the minimal grade 360 (Wii is $250, 360 $300), and the games are easy to pick up and play. Mostly. Red Steel needs some getting used to. Another thing about the Wii, since it's so easy to play, you can get your family to try and kick your butt in Wii Sports. Emphasis on "try".

If you have a lot a friends and family,love to be entertain, and cash is your MAIN priority then get the wii because it's only 250 but if you are obssed with graphics and is some kind of spectacle nerd get the ps3 or xbox 360. But when it really comes down down to it , who really cares about the graphics unless they look preety s h i t t y, it's all about havin fun and the Wii definelty delivers when it comes to fun.

I think that the playstation 3 is better because it costs less and you can take it anywhere you want you can even play in the car or whereever you are at
