You will need:
Cotton Ball
Eye Makeup Remover
Place makeup remover on cotton ball. Close eye and gently wipe from the inside of the eye outwards. After three wipes it should be all gone.
You can open your eyes now with no burn.

I use sweet almond oil. I saturate cotton balls, close my eyes and soak the oil into the lashes. Then I was with a mild glycerin soap.
This takes even the most stubborn waterproof mascara off in seconds.

I use regular soap and shut my eyes tightly. Because I find that the makeup removers don't clean all that well considering you could have just smeared it all over your eyes, then you look like a racoon. Also if you're going to remove that you might as well wash your face because it can clog your pores if you don't remove all your make up, i.e. face powder, foundation, or just oil.

Well...if you don't want something getting in your eyes..like shampoo for example, you usually keep em' shut, right? that's how it is with taking your makeup off. Use a makeup remover lotion (better than those greasy pads), keep your eyes closed and swipe downwards, and with your opposite eye you can see if you have anything left to wipe off.

I use lotion and a qtip. Just dip the qtip in the lotion so only a littles on there and rub it over your eyelashes and it comes right off.

Most anywhere that sells cosmetics will sell eye make up remover. Me personally, I just borrow some of my baby's shampoo. (You know, "no tears".)
