I really want one with my name engraved in the back, but that costs 20$ more at my walmart, wehen that AND shipping is free at apple.com Which is better?

You will not find them much cheaper at a retail store. The advantage of buying from Apple's site right now is that you can get FREE engraving on your iPod, so you can personalize it for free. Retail stores cant do that for you. But as far as price, you will find that most stores cannot discount the iPod and it is the same price as on the website.

if you work for a school or attend school or know someone who does, you can get a good discount and then apple sends it straight to you....no line, no hassle, and free engraving. when you go to the apple website, go to the "education" tab, then click on the "save with education discounts" picture, and then "shop online" main picture. You'll be good to go. That's how I got mine and was very pleased with the process and price. Cheers!
