Schindler's list is the obvious one, but I personally think The Pianist is even better. Although you don't see any concentration camps in the film, it shows one man doing anything he can to survive through the holocaust - superb film.
Other titles worth checking out are Life is beautiful, Fateless, and Europa europa. Also The big red one shows US soldiers discovering a camp at the end of the film. If you like courtroom dramas then I also highly recommend a film called Judgement at Nuremburg, where Nazi's are brought to justice after the war.

I recommend "Life Is Beautiful", it depicts the Holocaust how a father tries to hide the evils of the Holocaust from his son by pretending they are on an "adventure". A great made-for-television movie is "The Devil's Arithmetic" with Kirsten Dunst. It's about how a young woman learns about the Holocaust by being transported in time to a concentration camp, where she lives the life as a refugee and how she learns about the fate of the Jewish people. It's a very powerful movie!

Other than those already mentioned there is a TV movie called Conspiracy with Kenneth Branagh and Stanley Tucci. Its basically about a meeting of Nazi generals and them coming up with the Final Solution. Its brilliantly done and so chilling. I thought it was as powerful as something like Schindler's List or The Pianist just in a completely different way.
Seek it out, you can get it on DVD.

I'd go for Schindler's List, although Shoah(1985),is much more comprehensive.
It's an uncompromising, 565 minute long depiction of the attrocities.
And I think you mean The Pianist (with Adrien Brody), not The Piano.

Pretty much every German film I've ever seen, whether filmed in German dialogue, or set in Germany, has had some mention of Nazis and Hitler. I understand it was a really big thing, but I can only name one movie spoken in German that has nothing to do with the war, and that's Run, Lola, Run. I suppose Das Boot should be mentioned here, however.
