Thought I'd add that numerous spam filters are in place, both on the server and on the client. Irrelevant to the question. They continually send the spam, despite have acknowledged receipt of a request to stop and saying they would. To claim it's a recipients fault for getting spam is akin to blaming rape victims.
In any case I just setup a rule to forward all email from Gevalia to customer_service@gevalia.com. I recommend everyone else does the same!

The answer to 'How do I sue them' is obvious...seek counsel from an attorney.

If you have some kind of email software that will 'bounce' the emails back to the sender it will appear to them as though that is no longer a valid email.

Gmail is a good one - there are more. Download Gmail and make it your default email client. Configure email so that all emails go to Gmail (even with your other email addy) they will all go into Gmail. Highlight the Gevalia email and click the 'bounce' feature. NOTE: You must make sure that you ALWAYS bounce this email or it will be clear to them what you are doing and spam will continue...maybe even get worse??

Get a spam blocker and use it. If you have Yahoo mail, that's what the spam button is for. If you have Outlook or Outlook Express, get Spamfighter. They are free. If you continue to receive spam, part of it is your fault. You can block most of it, and eventually get rid of it. If you have answered some of their spam mail, now they know your actual email address. Before, they just had a block of addresses. And forget suing them, they have more money than you do. Spam is sent to thousands of email addresses at a time.

The golden rule when you receive a SPAM email is NOT TO REPLY, although the email will say something along the lines of
"reply with unsubscribe in the subject line to be taken off our mailing list" as soon as you reply you are confirming that your email address exists.

You need a lawyer, without one you can't.
