Hi,

I reached level 60 in World of Warcraft and I know the expansion is out in January, but I'm bored and want to try something else now.

I was thinking of buying Guild Wars, but I don't know if it's any good? Any ideas?

P.S. I need something I can play solo most of the time, without worrying about guilds, raids, etc.

[You could go for a walk in the fresh air]

I could, but I work 40 hours a week outside in the fresh air, wind, rain, etc. At the weekends and evenings I like to stay in the warm and enjoy a good MMORPG!

Does anyone have the ability to answer this question!?

A walk in the fresh air? Why the hell would you want to do that? lol

Ok... try Guild Wars. It isn't actually an MMORPG but it is an online RPG. There is a difference which I won't go into but you'll find it very rewarding.

Anarchy Online is free and worth a look too. I don't think Eve Online is comparable to World of Warcraft as they are totally different in genre and gameplay.

Good luck

Guild Wars has a lot of new expansions, so I never have had the patience to keep up with it. But I do know a few people who like it, so it might be worth a try. . . . I love Dark Age of Camelot. It's old, but it's great. Also, you can do a lot on your own and PVE or get into a lot of PVP. I think for PVP it's much better than WoW or any other game out there right now. Leveling grind isn't as "fun" as WoW, but is also much quicker. Also end game content is better.

Guild Wars is a good choice, with the new Nightfall campaign, players can benefit from the new hero system, where you can customize a hero with your desired skills, armour and weapons so that you dont have to wait around for people to join up with. It is classed as a CORPG, so you do not require large teams to progress however it is also an option should you chose to. It has aspects similar to WoW, PvP for example. Hall of heroes PvP means you fight in teams of 6 to win favour for your territory e.g Europe, unlocking special areas for everyone in that continent.

It is free and you do not have to spend hours gaming to level up, skill on this game is about tactics, the right skills and teamwork. www.play.com sell all three campaigns for £17.99

If you need a guild you can check us out. www.yohoguild.com :)

Hey there,
If you click here on the link you can download for free Empire Earth III: http://bit.ly/1oh7uqZ

Empire Earth III is an excellent RTS game where you can experience becoming the ruler of Earth empires. The gameplay of Empire Earth III unfolds in a lavishly well-detailed Earth, and it has 60 maps all in all and it represents a real area on the globe, or you can randomly create a generated globe to control.
It's amazing.

Have you tried making another character, or another profession. I have a lvl 60 Priest (tailor/skinner), a lvl 60 Hunter (mining, engineering), a lvl 60 Warlock (tailor/enchanting), I have decided to make a warrior now (mining, blacksmith), and I have had real fun and success with the game still

These ones are all FREE:

Silk Road Online

Cthulhu Nation

Kingdom of Loathing.

SRO may have the best graphics, but I especially recommend KOL as it is humourous - something sorely missing from many fantasy based books, RPGs, etc!

you could try age of empires 2/3/1. it's about building civilisations and invading other peoples bases. However, I am 9 so mayb e we won't share the same taste! Empire Earth is amazing too.

You might try Eve Online. I played it for a while and have a few friends who do still. It's a spaceflight MMO, much like Elite (if you remember back then). You can solo and/or group and/or pvp.

Try City of Heroes. You play a superhero battling crime in Paragon City. You can do missions on your own, or team up with others and fight crime on a bigger scale.
