Family is an evolving concept... it is both what I had as a child and what I have now. It is the friends who I've chosen (and have chosen me right back!), it is the students who walk into my classroom every morning, and very soon it may be that lucky guy who professes to love me. Family is only limited by our definition.

We are married with two children, I think that is a nuclear family. We also have a lot of aunts uncles, in-laws, cousins, brothers and sisters, etc, etc, etc..... they would be the extended family.

Family consists of the people who you surround yourself with that love and care for you. People with whom you share your good and bad times. They don't have to be blood to be family, they just have to be there for you and you for them.

it can be beyond blood relations...someone who is with you come hell or high water...who will always have your best interest at heart and you can always count on...
